"All the World Rejoices" 5x7 Christmas cards (set of 10)

This 2025 card is entitled, "All the World Rejoices." Each year, when I paint the nativity card, I find it necessary to not just include the baby in the manger, but the cross as well. After all, the cross is why Jesus was born, right? So when I painted the nativity and the angels, I began painting the star and found myself focusing on the cross as I painted. What came out of that was this glow illuminating from around the star that actually turned the star INTO a cross! Just as the star led the shepherds to the newborn messiah, the cross leads us to salvation. It's the finished work!

I wanted to clearly portray the quiet, holy reverence of a humble birth while at the same time the glory and magnificence of a regal beginning. This birth changed everything, for every human being, for all of eternity. "Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!" John 1:29
